Editorial Department – Newspaper jobs:
(Journalist and editorial administration)
- Providing editorial content for the newspaper and website from original leads, press releases and news agencies;
- Maintaining Social Media up to date with current news from Portugal;
- English and Portuguese a must – any other language an advantage.
IT Department:
- Maintaining and developing our website, app and various platforms;
- Producing in depth statistics to support / improve various forms of online communication;
- Must have knowledge of: PHP, SQL (MySQL), HTML/JS/CSS, Photoshop/XD, Google Analytics/Tag Manager/Ad Manager, front and backend development.
Sales Department:
- Sale of in-print and online advertising;
- Client account management – creating and maintaining relationships with clients to help support and develop their evolving advertising needs;
- Being an ambassador for The Portugal News, first point of contact in the community.
